The West Indies Cricket Board has said that Carlton Baugh and Adrian Barath have sustained hamstring injuries and will not be able to resume training for two to three weeks.

The WICB, through the Team Manager, is therefore making an application to the ICC Technical Committee for Baugh and Barath to be replaced in the West Indies World Cup squad, a release from the Board said.

The players who have been put on stand-by as replacements are Kirk Edwards and Devon Thomas. The WICB said that it will await the decision of the ICC Technical Committee.
