It’s sickening to see how obsessed the media is with cricket. Many of us expected front page coverage of India’s win over Pakistan in hockey but were left sorely disappointed. It is a tragedy that our national game is projected in poor light and a shame that even the Tamil Nadu Premier League, for example, gets better and wider coverage. It leads to the perception that where money flows, the media follows. As a 30-year-old reader of The Hindu , I look forward to fair coverage of hockey and football.
