Now here is an actor that speaks her mind. And one who has sent a sharp and lucid message for all those wannabe size zero aspirants. Kangna Ranaut, reacting to recent rumours of having undergone cosmetic surgery, said,” Who says only women with a sharply defined jaw line, hollow cheeks, fuller lips and a 24-inch waist is beautiful? There is no ideal standard to match up to. I may be an unconventional looker, but I know I am a beautiful woman who does not need cosmetic surgery.”
With recent comments about her fuller figure, Ranaut said, she had joined the industry as a teenager and her current figure was due to regular hormonal changes. “I was skinny then but am fuller now at 23. I may be a celebrity but I am also a human being. I too go through regular hormonal changes that account for the changes in my body.” While Ranaut may not seem unduly concerned over her fuller figure, her rejection of the stereotype of good looks that most young people hanker for today might go a long way in restoring some of their self-esteem.
