The speeches of US President Barack Obama attracted considerable attention during his latest visit to India and some of the things he said emerged as key discussion points in the context of Indo-US ties. In his address at the Siri Fort auditorium in New Delhi on January 27, for instance, the part that touched on religion was talked about a lot.
But this is how a a world cloud made up of his key speeches and remarks made on different occasions (excluding the joint press conference at Hyderabad House on January 25) looks like:
Naturally, India was firmly in focus in all his speeches. That apart, there were some other key words, like people, work, young, together, make and so on. And his speeches were peppered with references to the first lady Michelle Obama.
A word cloud based on his speech at Siri Fort:
The words religion or religious figured only 8 times in his speech; other words like 'more' and 'people' were used more frequently.
And what did President Obama say during his joint radio session with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi broadcast on January 27? 'Think' is a word he used a lot.
There are no surprises in this word cloud based on his speech at the US-India Business Council Summit in New Delhi on January 26.
Interestingly, President Obama referred to himself a couple of times in the course of the remarks he made at the State dinner on January 25.
