>>The blurb that accompanied the report, “60 Dalit students in Bihar threaten suicide” (Feb. 3, 2016, city editions), erroneously said the Odisha government had allegedly stopped paying their stipends to the college. It was the Bihar government.

>>In “Dispel wrong impression about your children's 'role', Modi tells Anandiben” (Feb. 3, 2016) there was a reference to Keshubhai Patel’s (a former Chief Minister) removal from power in October 2011 . It should have been 2001 .

>>Editing error: The opening paragraph of “Zika scare forces Tata Motors to rename car” (Business page, Feb. 3, 2016) said the spread of the Zika virus and the fear created by the virus had forced Tata Motors to change the name of its newly developed hatchback car from Zika to Zica. Actually, the car was never named as Zika.
