The Hindu now offers a personalised, advertisement-free version of its website, www.thehindu.com, on a subscription basis. Readers can choose from three available subscription options. The free version of the site continues to be available — with ads and without personalisation.

There are three subscription options now for The Hindu ’s ad-free website: a monthly plan for ₹99, a yearly plan for ₹499, and a two-year plan for ₹899. These rates are applicable for those in India. Readers can register for free to experience access for 30 days.

A personalised dashboard helps in choice of topics of interest, and a ‘Briefing’ feature brings important updates three times a day on a single page.

The user experience will be better, richer, and seamless across the different digital properties of The Hindu in the coming months.

The site has been in ‘test’ mode since February 2019, and has already garnered a significant number of sign-ups
