Seven killed, 15 injured in Nalgonda accident

At least seven persons were killed and 15 severely injured when a commercial vehicle carrying passengers went out of control and crashed into an incoming State Road Transportation Corporation bus here on Tuesday afternoon.

The vehicle reportedlylost control when one of its tyres burst near Chennaram village in Kondamallepally mandal at around 1.30 pm and crashed into a RTC bus bound for Hyderabad.

While seven in the vehicle were killed instantly at the accident site, 10 km from the mandal headquarters, some 15 passengers sustained bleeding injuries.

Local people and the police are now shifting the injured to the nearest  Devarakonda area hospital, 20 km away, for emergency care.
