Kidney donors held

Nalgonda Police have arrested three kidney donors in connection with an international kidney racket, which they had busted in January first week this year.

According to Srinivas, One-town Inspector, they have nabbed Shankar Sham Rao, 24, native of Brahampuri of Maharashtra, Siva Karri, resident of Vijayawada and Gaynendra Kumar, 28, native of Baluch of Utttar Pradesh. Mr.Srinivas said that the donors had contacted Suresh Prajapathi, the kingpin of racket, by accessing information available on website www.kidneyysales.com. They had all donated their organs in different hospitals in Colombo. . The teams under the guidance of SP Vikram Jeet Duggal were still investigating in to the case to nab the donors and recipients involved in one of the biggest illegal human organ trafficking ever reported in the country.
