BJP seeks action against Rahul Gandhi

Rafale slur against Modi decried

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders led by former MLA Yendala Laxminarayana and party district president Palle Ganga Reddy, here on Thursday, submitted a memorandum to the district Collector M. Ram Mohan Rao requesting him to forward it to President Ramnath Kovind for action against All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Rahul Gandhi for his baseless allegations and comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Rafale jet fighter purchases.

Referring to the Apex Court judgment that there was no misappropriation of money or kickbacks in the fighter jet purchases, they said in spite of that the Congress was attacking Mr. Modi who was striving for the safety and integrity of the nation day and night. They also said that the attack would demoralise the armed forces.
