Adilabad Zilla Parishad Chairperson V. Shobha Rani and three others were injured when the jeep in which they were travelling collided with a lorry at Medchal in Ranga Reddy District on Tuesday. The injured were treated at a private trauma care centre at Kompally close to the spot of the accident.
According to information, the chairperson was going to Hyderabad with her husband Satyanarayana Goud. The others injured were the driver and her gunman.
A lorry coming from opposite direction suddenly swerved to its right coming in the path of the jeep. Though the driver tried to control, the jeep hit the lorry resulting in injuries to all the four occupants.
