Unable to bear the continuous harassment and domestic violence, a 35-year-old woman killed her husband in Rajagopal Nagar on Thursday. The victim, Vijay Kumar was a construction labourer and a chronic alcoholic.
He was allegedly beating his wife Malleshwari, who was a domestic help, every day. On Thursday, Vijay Kumar came home in an inebriated state and started beating Malleshwari.
Neighbours pacified him and separated him from Malleshwari.
But, Vijay Kumar returned home late at night and started harassing Malleshwari again. Enraged by the torture, Malleshwari pushed Vijay Kumar to the ground and crushed his head with a boulder.
