On account of heavy rainfall and tree fall due to heavy winds reported between Ooty and Lovedale and again between Keti and Aruvankadu, the Railways has fully cancelled the passenger train services under the Nilgiri Mountain Railway in the Coonoor - Ooty section on June 23.
Train No: 56136 Mettupalayam- Ooty Passenger and No. 56137 Ooty-Mettupalayam Passenger were partially cancelled between Coonoor and Ooty on June 23.
The Mettupalayam – Ooty passengers will, however, be operated between Mettupalayam and Coonoor on this day, according to a press release issued by the Salem Railway Division here on Monday.
