Train cancelled in Salem

Due to track doubling works between Virudhachalam and Tiruvennainallur Road railway stations, train no.76849/ 76848 Salem – Virudhachalam – Salem passenger train services will be partially cancelled between Chinna Salem and Virudhachalam from October 31 to November 5. On these days, these trains will be operated between Salem and Chinna Salem only.

Tangedco has announced that the scheduled maintenance works at its Nethimedu sub-station on October 29

has been postponed to October 30. Power supply to areas coming under the substation would be disrupted on the day.
