Three from Puducherry found dead

The bodies of three persons, including that of a girl aged around six years, were found in a decomposed condition in a lodge near the Medical College Hospital here on Thursday. As per available information, the three were natives of Puducherry. Staff of the lodge had noticed foul smell emanating from the room that the three had taken on rent from around 9 a.m. on April 27, and on breaking in, they found the bodies. While the body of Shanmugham, aged around 50, was found lying on the floor, that of the child, identified as Rejitha and aged around six, was found on the bed. The body of Sangeetha, aged around 38, was found hanging from the ceiling of the room.
