At 15 years, children of her age would be playing computer games. But, K. Visalini, who has already made into engineering course, has now drawn the attention of none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Prime Minister will interact with the child prodigy of Palayamkottai over video-conferencing on Friday on the eve of Teachers’ Day on September 5. The Collectorate has made all arrangement for the video-conferencing to take place in the forenoon.

The girl, who had speech problem at an young age, however, overcame it through speech therapy. It was during that period that her parents, Kalyana Kumarasamy and Sethu Ragamaliga, came to know that the child had abnormally high intelligence quotient.

The girl became conversant with computers at a tender age and had taken up many certificate courses on computer. She has over 10 international certificates to her credit, and it was no surprise that Kalasalingam University in Srivilliputtur offered the 9th standard student a seat in its B.Tech programme.

Visalini was a star attraction at the Google India Summit in New Delhi.
