NCC cleans Vellore Fort

About 200 National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets attached to the 10 Tamil Nadu NCC Battalion, Vellore, undertook a mass cleaning operation along with the sanitary workers of the Vellore Corporation inside the fort here on Friday under the Swachh Bharath Mission.

Janaki Raveendran, Commissioner of Vellore Corporation flagged off the operation under the presidentship of R. Suresh Kumar Commanding Officer of the Battalion.

Operation

K. Raja, Public Relations Officer of the Battalion said that the cleaning operation was carried out in the parade ground, sports ground and pathways in the fort.

Under the supervision of M. Murugan, sanitary inspector of the Vellore Corporation, Battalion Training Wing Subhedar M. Azhagarsamy, Battalion Havildar Major G. Santhakumar, and NCC Officers participated in the drive.
