Kodai Vizha to be held from May 20 to 24 in Cuddalore

The five-day annual summer festival Neithal Kodai Vizha will be held at Silver Beach in Cuddalore from May 20 to 24.

In a release, District Collector S. Suresh Kumar said that folk dance, music and various cultural programmes by the Thanjavur South Zone Cultural Centre would be held as part of the festival in tune with the State Government's directive to preserve the folk art forms.

Folk artists from States such as Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka besides Tamil Nadu would participate.

Sand sculptures would be an added attraction from this year.

The programmes would go on from 4.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. daily.
