DMK president M. Karunanidhi on Wednesday took exception to Governor K. Rosaiah’s remarks that law and order in Tamil Nadu was well-maintained.
He pointed to a series of murders, including that of the relative of Dairy Development Minister B.V. Ramana and the killing of a person at a police station in Ramanathapuram, and a spate of burglaries. If all these could happen in a day, could anyone appreciate the law and order situation, he asked.
