Free yoga training

Free yoga training would be conducted at Isha Yoga Centres in Kanyakumari district for two months from June 21, the World Yoga Day.

Addressing reporters here on Friday, Swami Prabotha, coordinator, Tamil Nadu-north and south regions, said that the training, meant for those aged above seven, would cover six yogasanas of five minutes each,

Union Minister of State for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Pon. Radhakrishnan would inaugurate the programme at Lakshman Mahal here at 11 a.m. on Sunday. The training would be offered at Nagercoil centre between 11 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. on Fridays, 6.30 to 8 p.m. on Saturdays, 6.30 to 8 a.m. and 6.30 to 8 p.m. on Sundays. At stadium

With a view to creating awareness of the importance of practicing yoga, a yoga session will be conducted at Arignar Anna Stadium in Nagercoil on Sunday. NCC cadets, volunteers of Nehru Yuva Kendra, police personnel, students from schools and colleges will participate in the session to be held from 7 to 7.30 in the morning, according to a release.
