Tamil Nadu Chief Minister-designate Edappadi K. Palaniswami announced his 31 member Cabinet. Except for O. Panneerselvam, the current caretaker CM and Ma Foi K. Pandiarajan, the School Education Minister, all other members have been retained with their portfolios intact.
Mr. Palaniswami has retained the Home, Finance and Public Works portfolios for himself, and Mr. Pandiarajan's portfolio has now been handed over to K.A. Sengottaiyan.
Dindigul Srinivasan will be number two in seniority in the new Cabinet. Mr. Sengottaiyan is ranked third.
