CPI leaders hold talks with AIADMK

The State leaders of the CPI on Sunday held talks with the AIADMK on seat allocation in the Assembly elections.

The CPI team was lead by State secretary D. Pandian. Deputy secretaries C. Mahendran and G. Palanisami were the other members. AIADMK was represented by party treasurer O. Panneerselvam, headquarters secretary K.A.Sengottaiyan and election wing secretary Pollachi Jayaraman. “We had the first round of talks and discussed the strategy for the elections,” Mr. Pandian told reporters after the meeting. He said the party was yet to finalise the seats it favoured.
