Tejaswi Yadav, leader of the Opposition in Bihar Assembly, slammed Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his deputy Sushil Kumar Modi on Wednesday for trying to evict him from his government bungalow.

Earlier, RJD leaders and legislators had staged a sit-in protest in front of Mr. Yadav’s residence to prevent district officials from getting the bungalow vacated.

“I can’t understand this desperate move by the Chief Minister to evict me from my official bungalow when the matter is pending in the Patna High Court… Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself occupies three bungalows, two in Patna and one in Delhi… he should first vacate them,” RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav told journalists here after arriving from Delhi on Wednesday.
