President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday inaugurated the Siddheshwara Dhaam at Solopokh near Namchi in south Sikkim district.
After inauguration the President, who arrived at Gantok this morning, was escorted around the entire campus.
Later in the evening, the President will lay the foundation of a new campus of the Sikkim University at Yangang.
Mr. Mukherjee will leave for New Delhi on Wednesday.
