J&K CM Sayeed admitted to ICU at AIIMS

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is “presently sick, requiring oxygen therapy” and his condition is being closely monitored by a team of experts, a statement from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), where he is admitted, said on Wednesday.

Seventy-nine-year-old Mr. Sayeed was flown to Delhi on December 24 with complaints of fever and chest pain. “He is conscious and alert,” a hospital statement said.
