The Supreme Court on Wednesday agreed to urgently hear the plea of an MBA student for a CBI probe into her alleged rape by seniors at a private university in Haryana.

A Vacation Bench of Justices A.K. Sikri and U.U. Lalit scheduled the hearing for May 25 after senior advocate Indira Jaising mentioned it.

The victim alleged that she was blackmailed and forced into a physical relationship with her seniors on the campus and outside.

She accused the police of trying to destroy evidence, including laptops and mobile phones through which her photographs were allegedly shared by the accused.
