Forced castration: Dera chief summoned

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is the key accused in the case.

A special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Court in Panchkula summoned the Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh – the key accused in a case of alleged forced castration, to appear before it on February 28.

The court on Monday also issued summons to the two other accused in the case - Dr.Pankaj Garg and Dr.M.P. Singh, who are believed to have forcibly castrated around 400 followers of the 'Dera'. Both Mr.Garg and Mr.Singh used to work in a hospital of the Dera in Sirsa, Haryana.
