Civilian shot dead in Sopore

Unidentified gunmen killed a civilian on Friday in Sopore in north Kashmir. It is the second killing of a ‘pro freedom’ activist this week in Sopore.

Khursheed Ahmad Bhat, a 30-year-old shopkeeper and, according to the locals, a staunch supporter of the Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani, was killed outside his home.
