Bihar offers cash reward for information on Maoists

The Bihar government on Wednesday announced cash rewards from ₹25,000 to ₹5 lakh on 43 top Maoists active in the State. The cash rewards will be for anyone providing information on the Maoists or help the police in facilitating their arrests.

“Anyone cooperating with the police in nabbing ultra rebels falling in the rewards category will receive cash from ₹ 25,000 to ₹ 5 lakh, as announced by the Bihar government,” ADGP S.K. Singhal told journalists.
