Asha Bhosle files complaint against Sadhna

March 16, 2012 01:23 am | Updated 01:23 am IST - MUMBAI:

Veteran singer Asha Bhosle has filed a complaint with the police against actor Sadhna for allegedly encroaching and trespassing her Khar bungalow.

Sadhna had lived in the house for over 50 years as a tenant of Bhosle and the recent complaint comes after Bhosle alleged hindrance in free and unhindered access to the garden. “Sadhna Nayyar is the tenant in respect of the ground floor premises only... she is wrongly claiming tenancy in respect of the garden abutting the ground floor premises in Sangeeta bungalow by creating record as also restricting free and unhindered access to the garden to me and my representatives/servants/agents,” Bhosle said in a written complaint submitted to the Santa Cruz Police Station last month.

Besides Sadhna, builder Yusuf Lakdawala stays on the second floor and actor Baby Naaz lives on the first floor. Sadhna has been embroiled in a defamation case against the builder, who she claims has been threatening her.

The singer said she was approaching the police to file an FIR and take immediate action against Sadhna over her alleged claim of tenancy in respect of the garden, which was never given on rent. “My uninterrupted lawful possession of the said premises is now being sought to be disturbed with mala fide intentions by the said Sadhna on a false pretext and by obstructing and interfering with the entry/access to the said premises by her representatives/servants/agents,” the complaint says.
