Three Maoists were arrested with several weapons, 10 uniforms and as many bags from Kathkur and Kachanur villages in Bihar’s Aurangabad district today.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided the villages and arrested the naxalites wanted in connection with several criminal offences, official sources said.

Police seized two regular rifles, six country-made rifles, two country-made pistols, 95 rounds of ammunition, ten uniforms and as many bags, they said.

Several posters pasted by the ultras asking the people to boycott the upcoming panchayat elections in the area were also recovered, sources said.
