Several injured in grenade explosion near Srinagar

Four people, including two security personnel, were injured in the attack, eyewitnesses say.

An explosion has left several people, including security personnel, injured in South Kashmir's Pampore area, about 20 km from Srinagar, on Friday morning.

Preliminary reports suggest that suspected militants hurled a grenade at an installation of the security forces near a bank, at Kadlabal area early in the morning.

Eyewitnesses said around four people, including two security personnel, were injured in the attack.

The explosion has spread panic in the area. More reinforcements have been sent.
