West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi who holds the additional responsibility of Bihar said in Kolkata on Saturday that he has not received any communication so far about dissolution of Bihar State Assembly.
“I have not received any such request so far,” Mr Tripathi told journalists when asked about reports of Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi making an appeal about dissolution of the State Assembly.
Mr. Tripathi, also added that he has removed two Ministers from the Bihar Cabinet as per the recommendations of the State government.
“I have taken the action according to a letter which I had received last night. I have dismissed two ministers as the recommendations of the government,” he told journalists.
Mr Manjhi had written to Mr Tripathi seeking the removal of two ministers in his cabinet who are close to former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
