Suspected Maoists killed two persons, believed to be police informers, in Adaki thana of Khunti district of Jharkhand on Tuesday.

Informed sources said the Maoists were members of the People's Liberation Front of India.

Police officer Manoj Kesari said the bodies were found near Gumharia. The Maoists left a letter warning villagers not to inform the police about their activities. Khunti is one of the worst districts affected by Maoist violence in Jharkhand.
