Bhubaneswar rocked by mild earthquake

An earthquake of mild intensity having a magnitude of 2.9 on the Richter Scale was recorded near here today, officials said.

The quake epicentred at about 50 km south-south-west from the seismological observatory here occurred at 0314 am, they said, adding no damage to property or casualty was reported due to the tremor.
