3 militants killed in J&K

The Army on Saturday said it had killed three militants and foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control at Kupwara in north Kashmir. 

“The counter-infiltration grid of the Army detected militants in the Tut Mari Gali sector on Saturday and launched an operation. Three heavily armed militants were killed,” an Army spokesperson told The Hindu .

According to the Army, the gunfight broke out late on Friday night in Kupwara district.The operation was continuing on Saturday evening.

“The Army has not suffered any damage,” the spokesperson said.
