As the flood waters receded in Jammu and Kashmir, authorities on Saturday said that 14 children were found dead at a hospital in Srinagar.

State government officials confirmed to IANS 29 deaths have taken place in the Kashmir Valley alone.

Officials on Saturday said 14 children had died in the government-run G.B. Pant Hospital in Srinagar. The hospital and other major hospitals in the city, including SMHS and the GMC, were inundated in the floods.
