A special court on Monday sent Sharad Kalaskar, alleged to be the ‘second shooter’ who killed Dr. Narendra Dabholkar, to 14-day judicial custody after his remand with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) ended on Monday.

Judicial magistrate, first class, S.M.A. Sayyed gave the order after the agency told the court that it did not require his custody.

The CBI on September 3 had taken custody of him from the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS).
