The Federation of Senior Citizens Association, Kerala, (FOSCAK) celebrated the International Day of Older Persons at a function organised by Senior Citizens Forum at Chengannur on Thursday. P.C. Vishnunath, MLA, inaugurated the celebrations at Maruti Auditorium in Chengannur. Mr. Vishnunath said the federation would get State government recognition soon.
Babu Zacharia, programme co-ordinator, said 750 delegates from 83 units of the federation across the State attended the function. Prof. Zachariah said 65 federation members above the age of 83 years were honoured.
