Film fraternity and artistes remembered versatile actor Kottarakara Sreedharan Nair on his 29th death anniversary on Monday.
Delivering the commemorative address at a meeting held at Kottarakara by the Kottarakara Sreedharan Nair Foundation, film director Shyama Prasad said that Kottarakara Sreedharan Nair was an actor whose position in Malayalam film industry cannot be replaced.
Film producer Ambalakara Anil Kumar said he would offer all support to the foundation to start an institute to teach acting to those from the younger generation. Music director Ousephachan also spoke. Chairman of the foundation P.N. Gangadharan Nair presided. Kathakali artiste Chavara Parukutty and the stage actor Kabir Das were honoured.
