Preparations for Advani's campaign

The Jan Chetna Yatra of BJP leader L.K. Advani will be in Kerala on October 28 and 29.

State-level office-bearers of the party will meet at Thiruvalla on Friday to finalise arrangements for the Kerala leg of the campaign against corruption. National secretary of the party P. Muraleedhar Rao will attend the meeting.

As per the plan, the yatra will reach Thiruvananthapuram from Thenkasi on October 28 and halt here for the day. The next day, the yatra will traverse Kottarakara, Pandalam, Kottayam, Cherthala, and Ernakulam.

Mr. Advani will fly out from Ernakulam to Mangalore on October 30, while the vehicles accompanying him will leave for Mangalore the previous day itself.

Mr. Advani is scheduled to hold press conferences in Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam on October 29 and 30 respectively.
