Minister to chair revenue adalat today

Revenue Minister Adoor Prakash will chair the day-long revenue adalat to be held from 9 a.m. at the St Stephen’s auditorium here on Monday.

According to the Minister, the adalat has been organised to resolve various complaints and grievances relating to the revenue department in the district.

The district administration has made elaborate arrangements for the revenue adalat. Separate counters for all the six taluks in the district, information counter to clear the doubts of the complainants, and a media centre of the Information and Public Relations Department have already been set up at the adalat venue.

A medical team headed by the District Medical Officer too will be camping at the venue.

The Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha, P.J. Kurien, Anto Antony, MP, K. Sivadasan Nair, Raju Abraham, Chitayam Gopakumar, Mathew T. Thomas, MLAs, and , District Panchayat president, R.Haridas Edathitta, and other officials will also attend the adalat.
