Youth Congress workers waved black flag at Ports Minister Kadannappally Ramachandran here on Sunday in protest against the State government’s alleged lack of initiative to end the indefinite fast by Congress leader K. Sudhakaran demanding CBI probe into the murder of Youth Congress worker S.P. Shuhaib.

YC workers led by YC Kannur parliamentary constituency committee president Joshy Kandathil waved black flag when the Minister was about to enter his official vehicle after inaugurating a cycling programme. The protesters then marched to the venue of the fast in front of the Collectorate.

The fast entered seventh day on Sunday.
