: ‘Homecoming -2015’, the golden jubilee celebrations of the P.G. department of English at St. Thomas College, Thrissur, was held on Sunday.
It was a real ‘homecoming’ for the former students and teachers of the college.
Vicar General Msgr. George Edakalathur inaugurated the function. Prof Mathew Joseph, retired professor, St. Thomas College, Pala, one of the students of the first P.G. English batch in 1964, cut the jubilee cake.
Many former students and teachers, including former principal of the College Fr. Devassy Panthllookkaran, student of the second batch Prof. A.M. Varghese, former HOD of the college and Prof. George Menachery shared their memories.
An alumni association was formed on the occasion.
