Kudumbashree has become a role model in post-flood reconstruction with people’s participation, Education Minister C. Ravindranath has said.

He was speaking after inaugurating ‘Resurgent Kerala Loan Scheme,’ implemented by the Amballur Service Co-operative Bank on Sunday.

“We saw formation of many people’s groups after the floods. They are supporting people, who are suffering from the impact of the deluge. The people responded positively to the call of the Chief Minister for reconstruction of the post-flood State,” he said.

There are plans to collect funds through art and cultural programmes for reconstruction in the district.

He also inaugurated ‘Muttathe Mulla’ project of the Kudumbashree Mission. Alagappa Nagar Panchayat president K. Rajeswari presided over.
