The Parent-Teacher Association of PKMM Higher Secondary School, Edarikode, felicitated the students who secured A+ in all subjects in this year’s SSLC and higher secondary examinations.
Education Minister P.K. Abdu Rabb gave away the awards at a function held at the school on Monday.
Mr. Rabb said that achievement of the students was a fitting reply to those who doubted Malappuram district’s ability to excel in education.
Mr. Rabb felicitated Gauthami K. Nedungadi and Nasiya, who secured full marks in higher secondary examinations.
When 178 students had got A+ in all subjects for SSLC, 61 secured A+ in all subjects for higher secondary exams.
Edarikode grama panchayat president Haneefa Thaikadan presided.
PTA president Ibrahimkutty Parapurath welcomed the gathering.
School managing committee member Nasar Edarikode, principal Mohammed Shafi, headmaster Kunhi Moidu, and MTA president P. Kamarunnisa spoke.
PTA vice president Rahim Kundoor proposed a vote of thanks.
