Elaborate arrangements have been made for counting of votes and announcements of trends and results of elections in the constituencies in the district.
The votes polled in all the 11 constituencies in the district will be counted at the Chinmaya Institute of Technology at Chala here on Thursday. An official press release here on Wednesday said that the links to election trends and results will be available on www.kannur.gov.in. The Kannur Election 2016 is also available as an app to be downloaded on iPhone and Android platforms. The election trends will be available on trend.kerala.gov.in.
Arrangements have been made for the media at the counting centre. The results and trends will be displayed in big screens at the media centre.
Arrangements have also been made for the announcements of trends and results for the public at the Collectorate, the release added.
