BJP says Cong betrayed devotees

BJP State general secretary A.N. Radhakrishnan on Wednesday criticised the Congress for its ‘change of stance’ on the Sabarimala ‘entry for all-women’ issue.

He argued that the Congress had gone back on its stance following the developments in the solar case. He claimed leaders such as A.K. Antony and Oommen Chandy entered into an understanding with CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury in Delhi, following which leaders like Rahul Gandhi took a position different from its earlier one. Mr. Radhakrishnan also criticised the State government for introducing online queue system for Sabarimala darshan. “The government is trying to frighten away devotees,” he said.
