ASAP to be extended to VHSE schools

The Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) launched in 2012 for higher secondary and undergraduate students has been extended to Vocational Higher Secondary (VHSE) schools from this academic year.

A press release here said that the VHSE schools would also be covered by ASAP.

Training centres under ASAP would be launched in VHSE schools that wanted its students to be brought under the ASAP initiative aimed at enhancing employability and soft skills. The release said that the VHSE schools that wanted to start the training centre should apply online on www.asapkerala.gov.in by June 27.
