District Collector Ashok Kumar Singh has issued order banning public meeting, rally and ‘freedom parade' by National Democratic Party, Social Democratic Party of India and Popular Front of India in the district till August 17. The order is issued to ensure security and peaceful atmosphere, said an official release here, adding that a security alert had been issued to the Police Department in this regard.
