We have taken off well: CM

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday took on the critics who allege that his government is yet to take off.

Replying to the debate in the Assembly on the demands for grants to various departments, the Chief Minster pointed out that his government had managed to adhere to 94 per cent implementation of the State’s Plan for 2014–15 whose size had been kept at Rs. 65,600 crore.

“This has been done despite the cut in Central share to various projects by a massive Rs. 5,527 crore,” Mr. Siddaramaiah said while asking his critics, “Is it not an achievement?”

He said, “Some people have been criticising us by saying that our government is yet to take off. But can 94 per cent Plan size be achieved without taking off? Such comments are politically motivated and not based on facts.”
